Day 78

What a difference a year makes! One year ago today, Jeff resigned his position at our former church. Life was pretty much in upheaval. We were hurting deeply and wondering what God had in the future for us. Needless to say, we were not in a place that I'm eager to return to or recall.

Today, one year later to the day, we had an AMAZING day at church. It was Student Ministry/Youth Ministry Sunday, and what a blessing it was to sit through the service all three times (!!!) and watch Brooke lead worship with the youth band/praise team, see Payton do the same with the Breakaway worship team, watch the parade of children that Lifepoint impacts each and every Sunday, and marvel at God's goodness to us in the past year. Then we had a great picnic lunch with new friends; people who were complete strangers to us just 365 days ago. People who I can't imagine not knowing now. People who have impacted my children in ways that they will never know. People who have loved us and accepted us and welcomed us. God is good and we are blessed!
