Day 79

Haven't posted a recipe in a while. Not to mention, I am seriously low on blog fodder, which, I realize, is only inviting some annoying and stressful incident to occur so I can write about it. But, that sad fact notwithstanding, this recipe really is a GOOD one! So easy and perfect for this time of year when many fruits are in season. I used blueberries when I made this last night. It was YUMMY, especially with whipped cream on top! If you try it, let me know what you think!

Fruit Cobbler

1 stick of butter
2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cups of fruit (I didn't measure mine, but four cups seems like a lot to me.)

Place butter in an 8 x 10 baking dish and put in oven while it preheats to 375 degrees. Melt butter completely. Put flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in separate bowl and blend well. Pour batter over the melted butter and spread fruit evenly over the batter. Bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy!!
