Uninvited guests.......
Sydney had a great birthday yesterday! Except for one thing: two hornets showed up and decided to crash the party. They were, however, nice enough to bring a "gift". Doesn't that right hand look lovely sporting their "gift"?
Ouch! That's no way to celebrate one's 13th birthday. My younger daughter is a bug magnet. Anything that bites or stings is instantly drawn to her, despite gallons of DEET. We love our Benadryl in this house, and say lots of prayers that the mosquitos won't be sharing West Nile Virus with her.

Yikes. That's pretty painful-looking! What a bummer on her b-day! Hope she's feeling better.
