Sawyer Again.....

My boys have graciously downloaded a lovely "useless fact" app on my iPod touch.  Personally, I would say it's far beyond useless, but it does provide us with some interesting travel conversation and good laughs, not to mention a bit of eye rolling.  For instance.......did you know that giraffes are unable to cough or that 2 out of 3 adults in the United States have hemorrhoids or, most importantly, your pinkie finger can also be referred to as a "wanus".  (Yes.......they reacted just as you would expect 10- and 12-year-old boys to react.)

Tonight, as I was driving across three counties (not kidding) to take Sawyer to basketball practice, he pulled out the iPod and shared the following useless fact:

Sheep can recognize other sheep in pictures.

This was his immediate response:

"Wow, mom, so one sheep can look at a picture of his friend and say 'Look,
there's B-a-a-a-b!'".

Maybe you had to be there, but it really was very funny.  I think he might have a future on "Last Comic Standing."

Jen, you fun is only beginning. Enjoy every moment with them. You must keep a book of these things there will be so many. Jeanne and I were riding in the car and she told the boys something and the reply from the back seat" Mom you're almost as smart as Lassie" I had to stop the car so I could collect myself. Thanks for a bright spot in our day. Don and Jeanne
