Day 59

Still not much going on but today the sun is shining, and I got all caught up at work! That is something to celebrate as I have felt like I was fighting a losing battle since May 1. It feels so good to be ready to hit the ground running when I go in on Thursday. A few things to celebrate today:

We had a great visit with my mom and dad. It's really nice that they are close enough to come down for the evening. The kids love to have them here. Brooke did a GREAT job on her solo in the spring concert, and Sydney earned her first school "letter" for cheerleading this year. She was very excited!!

I got to talk with my dear friend, Kim, this morning. What a great way to start the day! We don't talk often enough.

Jeff took a personal day off from school tomorrow so we will spend the day together without kids!

Tonight Jeff is going out to dinner with his friend, Bruce, who is in town from Tampa. So the kids and I will enjoy a quiet evening of "whatever you can find" for dinner and American Idol. Go David Cook!! And I will try to catch up on some laundry.

We are having another open house on Sunday. Because you all know how much I LOOOVVEEE open houses. Here's hoping there won't be any funerals during it!

I hope you all are enjoying the sunshine after the rain. We needed the rain but I was about ready to build an ark after the weekend! See you tomorrow. I will try to come up with something more exciting!

Hi Jen. I just finished writing our ministry update, sent it and came to visit your page. Interesting...seems like our minds are both thinking on the same wavelength...things to celebrate! Praise God!

Well, I still like the other David. Bet you could have guessed that! And I did watch it tonight for once. Glad the day was better. Miss you all. We live close but not close enough.
Love, MOm
