.....how a compliment from a complete stranger can brighten up an otherwise busy and boring day?
It didn't matter that the compliment was sweetly given between the organic cabbage and the avocados. It didn't matter that I was in a hurry and didn't really have the time or inclination to chat. What mattered was that someone took the time to offer it and, in so doing, brightened my day. And, it sure didn't hurt that it was delivered in the most refined and aristocratic British accent!
Maybe we all need to take the time to actually SAY some of the kind, uplifting things that come to mind. And, if you feel so inclined, a British accent probably wouldn't hurt either!
