Today was better! Thank heaven. And, I am feeling better too, which, of course, brightens everything. A few things I'm thankful for today.
Last night, on the way to basketball practice, Sawyer said "Thanks for bringing my uniform mom. Wow, it smells really good!"
Today, one of my voice students brought me a vanilla milkshake. It was delicious! Thanks J!
Also today, Sofie ran right out the front door without her leash. Miraculously, she stayed in the yard even with the cable men working across the street, although she would not come when I called her. Thankfully, she LOVES to ride in the car. All I had to do was open the van door and say "Let's go." She was in the van in less than two seconds!
Another voice student made me a sweet get well card. It included the following acrostic:

I tried a great new recipe tonight. And it was a hit! I will post it tomorrow.
Yet another voice student said "I love these warm ups, Mrs. VeStrand! They're so fun to sing!"
And, last but not least, there's SNOW in the forecast! Yippee!!
Yeah--all in all a good day!

Your students sound so sweet! I'm so glad you had a better day. I was thinking of you - I hate those days where it's just all these little things conspiring to be a terrible day! Hope today is going wonderfully as well!
We've been looking at dogs, and I think that you have a dog that doesn't shed. Is that right? What kind of dog do you have? Thanks.
