I know you are all waiting with bated breath so you'll be happy to hear that I survived my first "day", all three hours of it, back in the working world! The day started a little rough: it POURED rain here all day and so we ran/swam to the car with all the backpacks, lunchboxes, and extra shopping bags to head to school. After a middle of the night upset stomach (Sydney), a lesson using a belt and fly on his school uniform shorts (Sawyer), and a few last minute nerves (Payton), we made it to school and got everyone settled! Sydney actually doesn't start until Thursday, so she is spending some quality time with daddy these two days!
I didn't have to be at the office until 11, so I spent some lovely, quiet time at an internet cafe working on my lesson for Sunday and enjoying the peace. The work time went quickly as Steve talked me through all the different parts of his businesses. It was definitely information overload but I know it will all make sense soon!
