Day 29

Sorry I'm so late today. It's been busy. We survived yet another open house. (Have I mentioned that I hate open houses?) Our morning started at 5:30 a.m. so we could get the house cleaned up, drop Webster (we're dogsitting) off at friends so he wasn't here during the open house, and get to church by 8:30. Do you know how hard it is to vacuum the entire house, get the kids ready to go, and load a 100-pound goldendoodle in the car in order to get to church--which is 40 minutes away--on time? But we did it and no one was hurt or maimed in the process! I think it's going to be an early night tonight.

We had four couples come through the house. One has a house to sell (surprise, surprise), one was only approved for $250K (hello....our asking price is $369K), but two were good possibilities-no houses to sell, didn't mind the cemetery, really liked the house. So we'll see. Believe me, my hopes haven't gone up one single bit.

We have a busy week ahead: work, school, including two essays on A Wrinkle in Time and a coat of arms/shield project, two church meetings, some seasonal clothes sorting, and the dreaded stitches removal. The best part will be Thursday night when my dear friend, Melanie Bailey, makes a pit stop at our house for the night before she heads to New Jersey on Friday morning. I can't wait to see her and catch up a bit.

Hope you had a great weekend! See you tomorrow........
